Quick question regarding what they spoke about - what are 'mill specs'?

Robert Pearlman"MilSpecs" are military specifications, the design standards that are applied to military vehicles across the board.

Haise mentions milspecs in regards to how the Apollo spacecraft was designed counter to military standards, such that the "critical commodities, the hydrogen and the oxygen," were all clustered together.

Part 2 of the Special Apollo 14 50th Anniversary Video Reunion

The San Diego Air & Space Museum is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 14, the third mission to successfully put American astronauts on the Moon, with two special video reunions featuring Flight Director Gerry Griffin and Apollo 13 astronaut Fred Haise, one of the CAPCOMS on Apollo 14.

Part 2 will debut this Friday Feb. 19 beginning at 4 p.m. Pacific Time on the museum's website.

During the video reunions, Griffin and Haise share stories and anecdotes about Apollo 14 specifically and about the Apollo program overall. During Part 2, they also share their thoughts about the current and future state of the world's space programs.
